My name is Tylar Harrod and I will be teaching Kindergarten this year at Queen of All Saints. I have a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from East Tennessee State University. I am certified to teach Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.
I have three years of elementary teaching experience. For the past two years I have been have been teaching First Grade at Most Holy Trinity Catholic School and Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. Before that I was a Kindergarten teacher’s aide at Little Flower School in Great Mills, Maryland.
As a teacher my philosophy is inspired by holistic educational methods. I teach to the whole child, teaching to students’ interests, experiences, needs, and abilities. Fostering a community of life long learners that use their gifts to serve the world through service, education, compassion and their faith.
In my spare time I love being outside, sharing a meal with my family and going to the Muny with my husband on warm summer evenings.
I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to teach Kindergarten at Queen of All Saints this coming year. I am happy to be apart of
