Mrs. Bruner

Mrs. BrunerWelcome back to school middle schoolers and parents!  I am so excited to be back at Queen of All Saints! We have made some prolific steps toward a more engaging learning experience since I started in 2016 and I am very thrilled to be a part of this. My name is Laura Bruner and I will be teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade this coming fall. I believe in being a lifelong learner as well as developing the “whole child” cognitively, socially, and spiritually. I value fostering quality relationships with my students, parents, peers and superiors in our faith based educational community.

I have been a parishioner of QAS for some 20 years.  I am married and have two grown sons. I attended UMSL and graduated with honors and a Bachelor’s of Science in Education. Both of my children are QAS Alumni and I am getting acclimated to my "empty nest". In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, working out, shopping, day-trading, and DIY projects.

I have worked as a volunteer and substitute teacher at QAS for over 14 years and now embrace a full-time position with gratitude.  I love the technology-improved learning environment and believe it will capture the interest of our students and breed success. I am so blessed to live out my faith at work and thank God every day for this opportunity. My goal is to engage all students in a collaborative, inspiring, classroom that will challenge them and help them grow.  I believe in our doctrine that science and technology are a “wonderful product of God-given human creativity that provides us with many possibilities”. I am blessed and thankful for the opportunity to work in my own parish that I have always found to be genuinely devout and compassionate.

Please reach out to me if you have questions about anything.  The best way to contact me is via email at: brunerl@qasstl.org.
