I began my career as an attorney having received both my undergraduate and law degrees from St. Louis University. For a significant portion of my 16+ year law career, I practiced school law. I was involved in all aspects of educational operations – contract negotiations, land acquisition, student discipline, drafting policy, etc. I am also licensed to teach by the State of Missouri. I have also served as a member and president of the QAS school board.
With this background, as well as the encouragement of siblings and friends in the education field, I finally realized that God was calling me to utilize my talents in a different manner. I answered God’s call by becoming a teacher.
I have 11 years of Jesuit-based education. The Jesuits stress being “Men and Women for Others”. This mission was integral to my decision to become a teacher. I have found that success comes not from financial wealth or material goods, but from choosing Christ as the model for life and serving others.
I look forward to teaching Upper School Science!
