My name is Riley Vonder Haar and I teach kindergarten at Queen of All Saints. I graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor’s degree in English, including minors in Spanish and Child Studies. I also received my Masters of Art in Elementary Education from Truman with additional certifications in Early Childhood and English as a Second Language (ESL).
I firmly believe in the education of the whole child, mind, body, and soul. This begins by building close relationships with students which becomes the foundation for learning. With all students capable of high levels of learning, we create a classroom community rooted in Christ. I cannot wait to learn and grow with my kindergarteners!
I absolutely adore my two Tibetan Terrier dogs named Tobi and Micah. Most of my free time is spent with them getting pup cups, going on walks, or going to QAS sporting events! The kids will hear many stories about them and their adventures. I am also an avid reader and enjoy knitting!
This is my third year at Queen of All Saints and I am thrilled to continue to learn and grow with this community! I am so fortunate to be a part of such a loving environment.
