Project Lead the Way

Pltw     Pltw Ceremony

Queen of All Saints Upper School students participate in Project Lead the Way (PLTW), the nation's leading science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) provider.

STEM education is at the heart of today’s high-tech, high-skill global economy. It seeks to develop the skills that will help make our students the most productive in the world.

Through an engaging, hands-on curriculum, PLTW encourages the development of problem-solving skills, critical thinking, creative and innovative reasoning, and a love of learning. PLTW sparks the ingenuity, creativity, and innovation that are within all of our students.

Our current courses include Design & Modeling for 6th grade and Automation & Robotics for 7th - 8th grade.  Course are taught by Mr. Riley who also teaches Computer and 7th grade Math classes at QAS.  He is a certified PLTW instructor for both these courses.

QAS was formally recognized by Governor Nixon and Dr. Vince Bertram, President and Chief Executive Officer of PLTW, on Friday, October 28th, 2016 for being one of only ten schools in Missouri that offer 100% access to PLTW to our students by a certified PLTW instructor.
