Novel Engineering

Novel Engineering brings together reading, problem solving and engineering focusing on STEM goals and Project Based Learning methods. Students read a book then discuss problems encountered by the characters in the book. After analyzing and discussing problems, and brainstorming solutions students design a product that helps the characters overcome the problem or improve a solution. -- Tufts University Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (novelengineering.org).
