Hello and welcome! My name is Mrs. Joan Tonini. I am a teacher at Queen of All Saints School. I have the best job in the world because I love to teach, inspire, and guide my students to reach their full potential and develop a close relationship with God.
Our new enhancements has created a positive energy among students and teachers. I am excited to be a part of the Middle School and I truly feel blessed to work with such a great group of students, parents, and staff.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education certified to teach first through eighth grade from Mercyhurst College, a small, Catholic college in Erie Pennsylvania. Throughout my professional career, I have acquired fifteen additional credits beyond my Bachelor's degree.
I moved to Saint Louis when I married my wonderful husband, Michael, and taught for six years at Queen of All Saints before deciding to stay at home and raise my family. I am delighted to have come full circle and returned to teaching at QAS in 2014. I am a member of Queen of All Saints parish and both of my children, Lauren and Michael went to Queen of All Saints school. My extracurricular activities include spending time with my family, playing the flute for the Celebration Singers and Spirit Singers at QAS, reading, spending time outdoors and playing tennis in the summer.
QAS is a warm and caring community and I consider it my "home away from home". I desire to provide excellence in my teaching because I believe in the value of a quality Catholic school education. I thank God daily for my vocation and try to walk in the footsteps of Christ who came "to serve and not to be served."
